I set up Marley Bird Communications in late 2016, combining my love for marketing, writing and travel. As Managing Director, I am usually the first port of call for clients and specialise in strategy formation, content creation and direct marketing.
A Public Relations graduate of Bournemouth University, accredited by both the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) and the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), I have worked as a freelancer, in-agency and in-house within a variety of industry sectors including travel, automotive, education and skills.
Brands that I have worked with throughout my career include:
A fierce advocate of content and direct response marketing, I also work alongside business owners and marketing teams in a consultant capacity, helping their marketing to stay on track and maximise results, As an Associate Member of the CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing) I am also able to keep on top of current trends as well as access up to date training in the marketing and content world.
Hobbies and interests…
I love reading, writing and exploring the ‘Great Outdoors’ with my husband and chocolate lab Albie (often with one of the cats in tow – yes really). Travel is a huge part of my life and as the editor of adventure travel news & blog site lifesgreatadventures.com, I can continue to indulge my passions, whilst helping UK based tour operators & travel brand reach new audiences. I am also a member of the Lonely Planet Pathfinders programme and the Adventure Travel Trade Media.
